WSH Council Forum - Safe Hands

28 July, SPRING Singapore Auditorium 2
To protect workers' limbs at work, the Workplace Safety and Health Council (WSHC) initiated a WSH Council and SPRING Forum on Safe Hands on 28 July 2008.

The Forum was attended by over 400 employers and safety professionals who were educated and reminded of the safety measures needed at their workplaces to ensure the safe use of machinery. A new National Standard on the Safe Use of Machinery was also co-launched by WSH Council and SPRING.

WSH Council Forum - Raising Shipyard Safety Standards

17 July 2008, Toa Payoh HDB Hub Auditorium
The Workplace Safety and Health Council (WSHC), with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) organised a WSH Council Forum on Raising Shipyard Safety Standards on 17 July 2008.

The forum attracted more than 300 participants and highlighted to industry stakeholders the key safety measures needed in shipyards. A 400-page WSH manual on safety for marine industries was also distributed during the forum.
